Thermal Insulation

Ceiling Insulation

Ambisol can supply and install insulation for ceilings which is designed to reduce heat transfers through the ceiling of your home, improving comfort and energy efficiency.

Gold™ batts are available in R-values from R2.5 to R6.0.

Combine ceilling batts with Bradford Gold™ insulation for walls and your home has a highly effective barrier to heat transfer.

Wall / Floor Insulation

Ambisol can supply and install insulation for walls and floors, designed to deliver optimum performance in exterior cavity walls and suspended floors. Insulation batts for walls are available in R-values from R1.5- R2.0

Manufactured from glasswool, the batts are specially stiffened and treated to provide a moisture resistant insulation which helps meet the Building Code of Australia’s minimum requirements for energy efficiency in homes. Bradford Gold™ is made up of up to 80% recycled glass and is bio-soluble.

Insulation for walls can reduce your heating and cooling energy use by up to 20%. Combine this with insulation for ceilings, and you have a highly effective heat transfer barrier which will protect you from the elements all year round.

Reflective foil – Sisalation

Designed to enhance your home’s thermal performance and weather resistance, Wall Wrap™ also protects your new home from wind driven rain and dust during construction.

Installing Wall Wrap™ around the exterior frame of your new home during construction acts as a physical barrier to weather as well as guarding the interior of your home from condensation and extreme temperature variations.

Once construction is complete, Wall Wrap™ acts as a second skin adding another layer of protection from unwanted moisture build up in your wall cavities during winter; and its reflective surface reduces radiant heat transfer into your home during summer.

Acoustic Insulation

External Walls / Ceilings

Heavy traffic, noisy neighbours and aircraft can all contribute to unwanted noise inside your home. Ambisol can provide products for ceilings and external walls which reduce the noise entering your home, leaving you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet you deserve.

Ambisol uses an acoustically optimised rockwool insulation. It can be used in external walls and ceilings to meet the energy efficiency regulations, whilst keeping outside noise at bay.

External walls are treated with a water repellent agent for moisture resistance and should be installed at the time of building or renovating your home.

Internal Walls

Energetic teenagers, home theatres and even ensuites can produce noises that you’d rather not hear in your home.

Ambisol can provice a range of products specifically designed to reduce noise transfers between rooms in your home. Soundproofing batts installed in internal walls helps you create peace and quiet where you need it most.

Ambisol uses SoundScreen™ Plus batts made from high density rockwool insulation which hasve superior sound absorption qualities.

Between floors

Without acoustic insulation between the floors of your home, airborne noise can travel from your kid’s upstairs bedroom to the downstairs study, disrupting your peace. By installing SoundScreen™ Plus between floors, you can greatly reduce this noise transfer.
