Insulation Supervisor / Inspector

Ambisol is an emerging business in the insulation and sound proofing industry. As an extension to its current operations the business is engaging in a specialised inspection program.

Ambisol is seeking Insulation Inspectors to assist in completing inspections of residential dwellings which have insulation installed under the Federal Governments Home Insulation Program.

The responsibilities will incude -:

· Performing inspections of insulation installations in residential dwellings
· Completing risk assessments and inspection reports using an electronic PDA
· Completing minor rectification work

Ambisol is recruiting for separate positions that include Inspection Supervisors and Inspectors that will make up inspection teams.

Essential requirements for each role include -:

Inspection Supervisor -:

· More than 2 years building trade experience or
· More than 2 years experience as an insulation installer (or insulation industry experience)
· Workcover OH&S General Induction Card for Construction Work in Victoria (Red & white cards)
· Ability to submit a Police Clearance with no criminal history
· Attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively and record data accurately.
· High levels of customer service, honesty and integrity
· Ability to work jointly with an Inspector that you will supervise on all inspection
· Ability to continually climb into roof spaces and work in demanding conditions
· Ability to follow defined processes particularly strict OH&S procedures

Inspector-:

· More than 6 months building trade experience or
· More than 6 month experience as an insulation installer (or insulation industry experience)
· Workcover OH&S General Induction Card for Construction Work in Victoria (Red & white cards)
· Ability to submit a Police Clearance with no criminal history
· Attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively and record data accurately.
· High levels of customer service, honesty and integrity
· Ability to work within an inspection team and follow directions
· Ability to continually climb into roof spaces and work in demanding conditions
· Ability to follow defined processes particularly strict OH&S procedures

Ambisol will provide -:

· Uniforms and PPE equipment
· Further training (if required)

The roles are expected to be 6 months casual or contract positions. There may be potential to retain staff post the inspection program in related roles due to expanding nature of the Ambisol business.
